A Few of My Favorite Things!

There are a million baby items in the world today!

As mom's we feel as though we need to buy everything, otherwise we are not a good mother. Enter the wonderful world of guilt. I have learned that guilt and motherhood go hand in hand.

Here are a few of my favorite things:

• Car seat (Graco, Chicco, Peg Prego, Britax)
• Crib (Convertible crib)
• Fisher Price Lil Lamb Swing
• Glider/ Rocker
• Changing Table/ Dresser (You can use the top of the dresser as a changing table)
• Jumperoo
• Bassinet
• Travel system stroller
• Activity gym/Mat with toys above
• Bouncer
• Breast Pump
• Highchair
• Secure sleeper (especially if co-sleeping)
• Mobile for crib
• Baby monitor
• Nursing pillow/ Boppy
• Diaper Genie (I did not use one or prefer one)
• Health and Grooming kit
• Bottle drying rack
• Jogging stroller
• Baby relief kit (Mylicon drops, Tylenol, diaper cream, wipes)
• Medelea steam bags or Steam sterilizer
• Changing pad covers x2
• Boppy covers x2
• Baskets, baskets and more baskets!!! You will want stations all over the house so the baskets make even the most unorganized space seem organized 
• Receiving blankets
• Burp clothes and LOTS
• Sheet savers x2
• Swaddle blankets x2 (I loved the miracle blanket)
• Bottles (Dr. Brown’s are great but lots of pieces! Bottles are a personal choice for your baby so I recommend buying just a few different at first so they can pick which one they like)
• Mustela bath and baby care (We used this line due to Maddy’s sensitive skin)
• Breast milk storage containers
• Baby tub (there are a few options for this. The fisher price wale, garden tub)
• Diapers, wipes (Maddy has very sensitive skin so we use sensitive wipes and natural)
• Baby Bijorn, Sling and Moby…try borrowing these from a friend before investing. Maddy loved the bijorn and sling but not the Moby.
• Angel Dear lovies (buy a few in case they are lost!)
• Sleep Sheep and a travel sleep sheep

Words of wisdom...ask your friends if they have any of the above items. I have loaned out my breast pump, jumperoo, clothing, bottles and more. I know that there are certain items you will want to purchase new but lean on your friends and family that have been there before you! Your little one will never know the difference :)
